Publishing the Checkout Link

Learn about publishing the checkout link

Publishing your checkout link is quick and easy. To activate the designed checkout link, simply click the Publish button on the screen. Once published, your link will be immediately accessible to your customers.

Before publishing, Zotlo performs several automatic checks to ensure a smooth payment experience and compliance with legal requirements. If there are any missing or incorrect configurations, you will see relevant warnings before the process is completed.

  • If you have selected Zotlo as your payment processor but haven’t provided required banking information (e.g., IBAN), a warning will prompt you to complete these details. ➤ Go to Account Settings and configure your payment information.

  • If your merchant agreement hasn’t been submitted, is under review, or has been rejected, publishing will be blocked. ➤ Make sure your contract is approved by checking the status in Account Settings.

  • If your domain redirection status is marked as “Incomplete,” publishing will be blocked. ➤ Review the Domain Update documentation to resolve this issue before publishing.

  • If the “Show Merchant Info” setting is enabled at the bottom of your payment form but no Privacy Policy or Terms & Conditions URLs are provided, you’ll receive a warning. ➤ You can update these URLs under Project Settings.

  • If mailing is enabled, at least one Support URL and one Download URL must be defined to assist your customers. ➤ Add the necessary links in your Project Settings.

  • If Apple Pay or Google Pay is enabled but any of your domains are in “Pending” or “Awaiting Verification” status, those payment options will not be activated. ➤ Wait for domain verification to complete or configure a domain via the Payment Methods section if none are defined.

  • If no sales package has been added to the checkout link, publishing will be blocked as there’s nothing for users to purchase. ➤ Add a sales package via the Checkout Link Editor.

  • If you are using Theme 3 and the Bonus/Discount text option is enabled but no default message is set, you’ll receive a warning. ➤ You will be redirected to the form editor popup to enter the missing text.

  • Deeplink/Download Link Missing (Depending on Theme and Redirection):

    • If Show Payment Page is active and the App-to-Web theme is selected, at least one Deeplink must be configured.

    • If Show Payment Page is active and the Web-to-App theme is selected, at least one Download Link must be configured.

    • If Show Payment Page is disabled (i.e., you're using direct redirection), then at least one Deeplink must be defined for redirection to work.

These checks are designed to ensure your checkout experience runs smoothly and delivers the best possible experience to your users.
