After creating your sales site on Zotlo, you can integrate Meta Ads to enhance your advertising strategies and performance. In the Zotlo and Meta Ads integration, tools like Meta Pixel and Meta CAPI play an important role in supporting your ads.
Meta Pixel is a tool that tracks user movements and sends this information to Meta through a code added to your sales site. This tracking happens through users' browsers and has the following features:
Relies on third-party cookies: Data is sent directly from the user's web browser to Meta.
Can be blocked by ad blockers: Browser extensions or ad blockers can prevent Pixel from collecting data.
May have reliability issues with conversion data: Due to third-party cookie blocking, conversion data can be lost.
Meta CAPI is a system that sends conversion and event data directly to Meta through the server and offers these advantages:
Works on the server side: Data is sent to Meta via the website's server.
Not affected by ad blockers: Since it works on the server side, ad blockers cannot prevent data collection.
More reliable tracking of conversion data: It provides more accurate conversion tracking and better ad optimization.
When activating the Meta integration in Zotlo, you can choose to use either Meta Pixel or Meta CAPI separately, or both together. This way, while Meta Pixel tracks user activities on your site, CAPI collects conversion and event data more reliably on the server side. Using both tools together allows you to better understand your ideal customers, target your ads more effectively, and track post-purchase activities in more detail.
To integrate Meta Ads with Zotlo, you can follow these steps:
Open the settings page of your sales site in your Zotlo Panel and click on the "Integrations" tab.
Select the "Meta Ads" integration from the listed integrations.
In the opened screen, activate the Meta integration, choose the integration type, and fill in the required fields.
If you only want to send Pixel events, you need to fill in the "Pixel ID" field.
If you want to send only CAPI events or both Pixel and CAPI events, you need to fill in both the "Pixel ID" and "Access Token" fields.
Verify the information you entered and click the "Save" button to complete the integration.
Your sales site on Zotlo will now be integrated with Meta Ads.
